Notably, Beed was the last of all 543 Lok Sabha seats to be declared in the 2024 general election, reflecting the extremely close contest that year. In the 2024 General Election, polling in Beed constituency was held on May 13, 2024 (Phase 4), with a voter turnout of 69.74%. NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) candidate Bajrang Manohar Sonwane won the seat with 6,83,950 votes, defeating BJP’s Pankaja Gopinathrao Munde who received 6,77,397 votes. The margin of victory was an extremely narrow 6,553 votes — the lowest winning margin in any Lok Sabha seat in the Marathwada region in 2024. Beed was the last of all 543 Lok Sabha seats across India to declare its result in the 2024 general election.

In the 2019 General Election, Beed constituency had a total of 20,45,405 registered voters. Total valid votes polled were 13,52,399, with a voter turnout of 66.12%. BJP candidate Pritam Gopinathrao Munde won the seat with 6,78,175 votes (50.11%), defeating NCP’s Bajrang Manohar Sonwane who received 5,09,807 votes (37.67%). The margin of victory was 1,68,368 votes.
