The constituency encompasses Colaba, Cuffe Parade, Nariman Point, Navy Nagar, and Sassoon Dock covering the very tip of the Mumbai peninsula. Congress held the seat through most of its history with the Patrawala family and later Annie Shekhar, before BJP’s Raj K Purohit moved here from Mumbadevi in 2014.
